P007 → Brunch, Bilingual Posters
This series of bilingual posters explores the relationship between Western and Chinese breakfast and brunch cultures through painting and type design. I created original watercolor paintings depicting foods served in Shanghai's breakfast restaurants and brunch cafes, capturing cross-cultural influences. A custom typeface was developed, blending Chinese phrases with English words of similar meaning, and integrated into the final design. Using typography, layout, and visual storytelling techniques in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, the posters highlight cultural intersections through a vibrant and cohesive design.
